"Question: I was taught as a child that apple pips can be poisonous. Is this true?

Further to the earlier answer, Phillip Day in 'Cancer; Why We're Still Dying to Know the Truth" cites the amygdalin (vitamin B17) found in apple pips as a useful tool in preventing cancer. He argues that the small quantities of cyanide produced when the amygdalin is broken down is harmful to cancer cells and that one should make a point of ingesting a few de-hulled apple pips when eating an apple.

Other sources of vitamin B17 include apricot kernels, cashew nuts, cherry kernels, cranberries, flava beans and mung beans. But some scientists are sceptical about the benefits of vitamin B17. - Caroline Phillips, Somerset, UK

"Phillip Day does outstanding and praiseworthy work; everyone should be aware of the issues highlighted by CTM. We need people to realise that their health is in THEIR hands, not the doctors'." - Bren C., Edinburgh, UK

"Such valiant and truly courageous action merits support, and you have mine. International power brokers and government globally have gone well beyond their intended purpose of overseeing the public good, wanting now to regulate our every move. The entire system needs a complete overhaul - not just in England, but world-wide.

I wholeheartedly applaud your work. It is a blessing to the planet and I will enthusiastically support it and spread the word in any way I can. Bravo!!!" - Karen A., QLD, Australia

"Thank God there is an organisation that fights for truth in medicine. The various books from Credence are a real eye-opener and should be put under every medical practitioner's nose…. In Austria, the pharmaceutical pressure is enormously strong and because most of the population has a problem with the English language, it is paramount that all Credence publications should be translated into German and sent to doctors who, via a survey, appear to show interest in nutrition and have a broader view of health. " - Peter P., W.A. Australia

"I am really worried about traditional medicine. With friends and family who are in hospital trying to heal themselves with chemotherapy, etc., it is really a shame, the food, no vitamins, no antioxidants. The worst part is that they do not trust what you tell them about other therapies. Thanks." - Conchita C., Madrid, Spain

"It is such a shame I didn't read this book (Cancer: Why we're still dying to know the truth) before I lost my Mum and best friend to this awful disease." - M Da S ., East Sussex, UK

"Looking forward to receiving more information to share with those around me. Thanks to Phillip Day's book 'Cancer: Why we're still dying to know the truth' I have been informed of what is really going on and have made wonderful changes to take back my and my family's health and well-being." - Jennifer H., VIC, Australia

"Your organisation is doing a very important and valuable job. If only the general public was not so easily swayed and influenced by the spin given out by big corporations and mealy-mouthed governments only interested in self-preservation." - Brian M., Angus, UK

"I find it comforting to know that there are so many other people in the world who haven't been blinded by the glitz, glam and lies of the cult we like to call modern medicine. There are so many ways to improve upon our pre-existing system. Let's make it happen!" - Heather C., Nova Scotia, Canada.

"I attended your recent meeting at the Grand Hotel in Torquay and I am so glad I did! I found what you had to say terrifyingly enlightening and can well understand the force that must drive you to make these tiring tours of the UK and abroad. I guess the more you know the more frustrated you become… I bought one of the juicers (a very good buy - so much easier than my old one) and several publications that I am devouring.

Thank you for not being too worn out at the end of your talk to spend time with everyone who had specific questions - it was very helpful." - Mary Q., Devon, UK

"Very grateful to hear the truth. God bless!" - Don R., MI, USA
