Eat Greens!
by Phillip Day

We’re talking cabbage, kale, lettuce, spinach, broccoli, beans, etc.

  • Greens contain chlorophyll
  • Chlorophyll goes to manufacture haemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying truck in your blood
  • Greens are a great source of fine calcium (not the coarse junk found in cows’ milk which is hard to assimilate)
  • Organic greens are rich in minerals, including iron
  • Greens are alkalising antioxidants which give protection against cancer
  • Greens improve heart-rate variability, giving essential protection against heart attacks
  • Greens are rich in amino acids, which make protein
  • Greens deliver an impressive enzyme payload when eaten in their raw, unadulterated state
  • Greens are the food no-one wants to eat! Next time you’re in the fresh produce section of your local supermarket, grab handfuls of the stuff
  • Aside from salads and steamed veggies, juice greens and squeeze a lemon into the mix – delicious! I do this twice a day, one in the morning after rising and one in the evening before 8pm

TRY THIS! Make changes to your daily food intake to include a broad spread of organic greens in both their whole-food and juice forms. Cut out high-calorie, sugar-laden ‘must-have’ breakfasts and feel the difference in just a week. No need to overdo, just progressively introduce the healthier alternatives. If you suffer from cancer or other debilitating illness, make a pristine diet the very first thing you adopt.
